Regarding the show Mr. Robot, I couldn't agree more:
"They do seem a bit immature. Like the sort of stuff a typical angry 16 year old would say--and most redditors actually. All about how society is going down the drain, how consumerist we all are, about how religion is bullshit. What makes it immature isn't the general idea behind these things, but how they're said and the general lack of philosophical thought or research behind it. It's the difference between calling people "Sheeple" and making actual philosophical arguments from Zizek or whatever, you know? Like I don't have to agree with their ideas about capitalism--but I can respect it if they think it out a bit.

I love the show though. I don't take the main characters seriously from a intellectual point of view though.".
